“Broken ski trail (Murtunut latu)” – Memorial statue

The statue project was initiated in 2013 when the Haapajärvi Youth Council proposed to the city the idea of placing a memorial for Mika Myllylä in the center of Haapajärvi.

Now, in the summer of 2020, the statue was unveiled for everyone to see.

This statue, designed and sculpted by Seppo Kalliokoski, can be found near the Haapajärvi library.
