Kumiseva’s Hill Stairs

Welcome to hiking!

The Kumisevan Kaiku Cooperative was involved in the “Hiking Haapajärvi” project, through which trails were renovated, including those in Kumiseva.

As part of the project, volunteers also prepared hill stairs of 63 steps! The area is worth visiting now as well, as it will continue to develop over the year through the “Hiking Haapajärvi” project.

The stairs are located near Tynnyrikoski. When you arrive at Tynnyrikoski, do not cross the bridge but instead follow the trail along the Lohijoki River for about 1 km.

You can also access the stairs via the Pitkäkangas exercise trail (signs coming soon).

In winter, the road directly to Tynnyrikoski is not plowed.
