Village Hall Eurola offers homely and versatile facilities, and the village’s professional hostesses provide catering services with diverse and delicious meals, or delicious pastries for celebrations, events, and visiting travel groups.

Village Hall Eurola is located in a beautiful countryside setting in Kuusaa village, about 22 kilometers towards Kärsämäki from the centre of Haapajärvi. The distance from Kärsämäki and Highway 4 is about 15 kilometers. Eurola is a cozy location for travelers, groups, celebrations, and camps throughout the year.

Almost fully accessible facilities are suitable for groups under a hundred people. Modern entertainment equipment and convertible spaces allow for diverse space utilization. In addition, you can reserve exquisite meals and pastries for celebrations as well as traveling groups. In our catering services, we combine the local and Northern Ostrobothnian delicacies. In Village Hall Eurola, we have wholehearted and sincere services and homemade food made of fresh and local ingredients.

 

In the yard is a travel park with six well-equipped places with electricity for caravanners and campers. The accommodations of the caravan site include the building’s shower and bathrooms.

The inside bathroom facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, two saunas, and a relaxing hot tub can be arranged with a separate agreement.

A huge lean-to with a fireplace allows campfire nights, and get-togethers, and offers a resting place for hikers.

 

Events in Kuusaa-Jokela

There are multiple different events in the village around the year. For instance, you can participate in the ice fishing competition around easter or the Avoimet Kylät event in June. The summer season ends with the traditional Kuusaa Marathon, which is arranged every year at the end of July or the start of August.

Activities

The village of Kuusaa-Jokela offers many opportunities for nature lovers. A trail Hullun Polku (6,8 km) starts from the yard of Village Hall Eurola. The trail continues with Kaarlo’s round, located in the primeval forest near the forest reserve of Hirsineva.

You can spot birds in the wetland area of Nuijujärvi from the bird-watching tower of Hanhipesä. It’s also possible to observe the nature of Hirsineva’s Natura area, go fishing on Kuusaanjärvi in the summer, or go skiing in the winter.
